Oh, well, he attacked me as soon as i said hello to him. And he hit me a few times. [he's been wanting to whine about this to someone so badly] And he's angry all the time, and he's kind of afraid of me. So actually i haven't seen him much today. i think he's avoiding me...

[Ren doesn't actually know most of what Hibari's been up to, though, so he's a whole lot more disagreeable than all that.]

but some of that is my fault, so i really do want to try to work things out.

i forced him into his weapon form without warning him what would happen. it bothered him a lot more than i thought it would.

Yah, no kidding that would make him upset. I’ve been there myself.

It’s probably good that he’s not stinging you, but really all it means is that whatever he’s been doing, he is doing believing he’s right, without a guilty conscience.

Maybe he does just need time to calm down, and maybe he needs someone to hit some sense into him really hard. I hope it’s not the latter. It sucks for everyone involved.

i don't think any amount of hitting will change his mind on anything except for whether or not he's found a worthy opponent. he likes fighting more than i do.

Yah, more or less we get along now. [It just took some doing is all.] I still fight with him a lot, but it sounds like a different kind of fighting than what you're facing. Probably.

maybe nothing. i just know how dangerous that kind of thinking can be, believing you're in the right no matter what. i still make the mistake sometimes myself. i don't want to see anyone else making it.
